As Church Extension Plan adapts in the wake of a global pandemic, I want to take this opportunity to offer some encouragement. In this season of uncertainty, we want to assure customers of our steadfast commitment to serving you. Although you may feel disheartened, know that you are not alone in this fight, know we are working hard to remain flexible and available for our customers, and know — above all — that God alone holds our lives and our futures.
In response to COVID-19, CEP has taken drastic and necessary measures to protect the health of our staff and customers, while continuing to provide consistent communication and competent financial management. For the safety of our ministry partners, we have implemented the following changes, among others:
- We have closed our office to the public and transitioned to a temporary and predominately remote work model.
- We have equipped our staff with the technology needed to maintain communication with our customers.
- We have cancelled upcoming events, meetings, and travel plans, including those related to the Assemblies of God District Councils.
Even now, we maintain the ability and desire to serve churches and investors in the ways we always have — with confidence, integrity, and resources. As our nation struggles to address the concerns and demands presented by this crisis, we are doing our part to prepare for obstacles long before they arise, to protect your investments and your ministries, and to embrace opportunities even when so much may be lacking.
Romans 12:12 (NIV) encourages us, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” As COVID-19 spreads across our country, CEP is fighting fears with faith and trusting God to make His name and glory known. In a time when many of us feel isolated and alone, we invite you to stand with us in hope and in faith, clinging to the confidence God gives and the strength He provides.
We will continue to update you via the following link as new executive decisions are made: cepnet.com/covid19updates. If you have any questions or concerns — or would just like prayer — we would love to assist you. Please contact us at 800-821-1112 or email email@example.com.
