Church Certificate Coordinator's Responsibilities

The church is required to appoint a Church Certificate Coordinator who will be the contact person for CEP and the certificate holders. The Church Certificate Coordinator will assist in processing certificates and work with the CEP certificate team to help manage the church’s certificate program.

The individual(s) that the church appoints must complete the Church Certificate Coordinator Form and return it to CEP. This informs CEP on who they should contact at the church regarding the certificate program.

The Church Certificate Coordinator will work with CEP’s Vice President of Ministry Development during the Certificate Sale at the church. They should be familiar with the certificate program and the Purchase Agreement Form and be able to assist in answering questions from the church body.

The Coordinator will be responsible for keeping the church updated on the certificate program. CEP will provide a Certificate Activity Report each month that shows the status of each certificate purchased. The Coordinator can help prevent any change in the loan interest rate by reviewing this report each month. It is easier to work out a solution and help keep the interest rate and monthly payment constant if problems are caught early. CEP’s Certificate Coordinators will contact the Church Certificate Coordinator regarding all delinquent certificates and the actions that need to be taken.
